The wind farm

Under the Dieppe and Le Tréport offshore wind farm project, sixty two 8MW wind turbines will be installed over an area of  82,4 km².

The turbines

The wind farm will be situated 17 km off the coast of Dieppe and 15,5 km off the coast of Le Tréport, at depths of between 14 and 24 metres.

With a total power of 496 MW, the wind farm should generate an average 2000 GWh per year, which corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of around 850,000 people, i.e. about two thirds of the total population of the Seine-Maritime region.
